Strengthening fire qi

According to your answers, if you are currently experiencing a deficiency of FIRE Qi through your body, you may be feeling like you need to be ignited, get more fired up, be more focused and disciplined, release fear and self doubt. You can nourish your body by summoning in more fire in these simple ways, with the intention to bring the body into balance. Making a fire always supports in breathing this element and its qualities into us. As you make the fire notice how you ignite it, and then spend time, and devoted attention, in noticing all the stages of the fire, from initial spark, to ribboning flames, to gentle simmer, and glowing embers.  Allow the fire to dialogue with you. Ask it what actions, and changes in behavioural patterns will assist in allowing more fire into your life. 

Fire deficiency is calling for you to radiate outwards, moving away from conservation of energy and introspection, and activating this fire within you by doing, acting and giving.  This will make more space to receive more energy and, provided your actions are aligned with your purpose, will serve in bringing in more fire and amplifying the fire through you. Whatever you are here to do will not deplete you, so observe in which areas of your life you feel energized, activated, more alive and ignited and set the intention to do more of that so that momentum builds in this way.

Building heat in the physical body is an amazing way to shift fear and anxiety out of the body. Dancing, yoga, jumping, and shaking the body to fast music, as well as a cold shower or water dip, will serve in bringing the body out of its dormancy.  

Bringing in warm colours, dressing in fiery colours, gathering things with golden colour ~ crystals, material,  as well as painting with gold and fiery colours, making an altar to fire, will all support your intention of strengthening this qi channel.  

Take risks, be experimental, change the patterns of the old,  alchemising them with your magical power to transmute. The root of the word fear is to risk or to try, so make active steps towards spiritual alignment with your purpose and just observe how this serves in bringing more fire into you.

Strengthening wood qi

According to your answers, if you are currently experiencing a deficiency of WOOD Qi through your body, you may be feeling indecisive, irritable, compulsive or dissatisfied in any aspect of your life, you can nourish your body and strengthen the wood qi moving through in simple ways.  

Being intentional and focused in the way in which you move through the world, supports in magnetising and co creating your desires. When you set focused intentions, whether for small chapters of your day, or bigger projects, this serves in expressing to the Universe what you are consentual for. Without intention in response to your desires, there is a haphazardness in the way you create your reality.  Intentionality means to go in the direction of your wishes, and so as you plant your intentions and focus in this way, all of your actions start to attune with these intentions. To gather serious momentum, really, all of your natural and spontaneous actions, arising out of a place of receptivity, ought to align with your intention.  Creating ritual and prayer around your intention, in whatever way feels natural to you, adds gravitas to your wishes. 

Working towards your desires requires self~discipline.  The magical wild, sacred and creative feminine, needs a structure to dance within.  Choosing to create this structure through discipline, sends intense energy towards that which we wish to create and then serves in creating it.  Sometimes this means moving through discomfort, being patient as the magnetic field spins our creations into form, but it is an essential part of the creation process and will bring great rewards and fulfilment. 


Streams of consciousness writing without any judgement about what you are writing is a great way to draw out ideas, organise intentions, and gain deeper clarity into your purpose and mission on Earth.  Accompanying this with seated meditation, and or walking or movement meditations, can assist in revealing more insights into what you are called to create through your magical beingness. 

A good tree hug or sit works wonders as you commune with its wisdom.  Find a tree that feels especially resonant with you and see what wisdom unfurls through its presence.

According to your answers if you are currently experiencing a deficiency of EARTH Qi through your body, you may be feeling worried, or there is something that you are metaphorically finding difficult to digest and stomach. You can begin to strengthen your Earth Qi in simple ways. 

Begin by bringing your attention to what you ingest, considering what you allow and disallow into your field and space. This is a deep honouring of your body and at the same time, as one and the same thing, our Mother Earth.  Discernment in this way ensures that you create boundaries of enchantment around your energetic field which assists in keeping your vibration high.  Putting yourself first is in the interest of the collective.  When you allow yourself to say a sacred and affirmative NO to all things that make you feel anything less than marvellous, seen and celebrated, then you raise your vibration and cultivate and strengthen your subtle light body, making you more magnetic.  

Nurturance, abundance, beauty and bounty are all keys words here in the strengthening of this Qi channel. Consider taking care of your body in the same way that you nurture the Earth.  Rituals of pleasure and celebration of your body, whatever this looks like for you, strengthens your connection to Earth. Maybe it is a barefoot walk, of a self massage with a beautiful natural oil, or it is spending time in a wild part of nature to connect with our land.  You decide what this looks like for you, and essentially anything that feels nurturing for you is the way.  Is your way. 

Indulge in natural sweetness. Walks in beautiful surroundings, eating naturally sweet fruits, sing dance, illuminate your body through acts of play.  These all show our Earth Mother how appreciative we are of our GodDESS given life. 

Gently warm your body ~ ingest only things that make your body feel more alive. Typically this means avoidance of refined sugars, caffeine, alcohol, meat, gluten and dairy.  But there are many magical Earth gift nourishments besides these and this will help you to sing your body electric!

Strengthening metal qi

According to your answers, if you are currently experiencing a deficiency of METAL Qi through your body you may be feeling inflexible, blocked in some way, sad or striving for perfection. You can easily strengthen the metal Qi coursing through your body in simple ways. 


Try acknowledging what your passions are and following them more and more.  Notice where your heart lights up, where you are fully present and your heart consumes your rational mind. What opens your heart and brings you joy?  Can you go there more and more often? 

Strengthening Metal qi through your body also requires a reversal or removal of old habits that are not serving your highest purpose. So if you are typically planned and inflexible, try introducing some play and spontaneity.  Equally, if you are often always very much in your feminine and more passive, try introducing some masculine structure and discipline.  Observe where patterns of your behaviour are serving you and where they are creating outcomes and feelings within your body that are less than desired. When you change the pattern, you will naturally change the outcome and feelings you experience. Observe what you do when you get the result you wish for and notice which patterns are unhealthy and create diminishment of those wishes.  Get super honest with yourself!  I call it radical honesty. 

To release perfectionism, explore bringing more experimentation into your life. In ancient Chinese the word perfect means complete, and this really just means that you, in your natural nature, are inherently perfect, and that you get to decide when something is complete or not. Since everything in the Universe is evolving and unfinished, whatever is created can always be deconstructed, added to, or decay to form a form anew, there is no such actuality as perfect in the conditioned sense of the word.  It just means to come as you are. Authentic, raw, and in your divine Mother essence.

Strengthening water qi

According to your answers, if you are currently experiencing a deficiency of WATER Qi through your body., you may be feeling tense, a sense of powerlessness, anxious or absent minded. You can strengthen the water qi running through your body simply. A weakness of water energy is calling for you to connect more deeply with your authentic self, your essence.  Consider the naturalness of the tone of your voice, or the way you do things when nobody is watching, the uniqueness of your handwriting.  This authenticity is the naturalness that emerges from you without any force. It is, in a sense, unchanging. You have a particular essence signature that is entirely specific to you.  It could not be replicated or disguised. It has to come out fully to play eventually! So, notice and list the ways in which you do things that are very you. How do you do things naturally?  What is your tempo?  How would you describe your essence? What does this word essence mean to you? 


Any and all Moon rituals that feel good for your body will strengthen water qi.  Maybe it is Moon gazing, or spending time by the ocean.  If you are a woman, observing your menstruation cycles more carefully, to tune in to the cyclical nature of life, is very supportive in finding that harmonic rhythm.  Listening to dolphin frequencies will support this qi channel. 


This qi deficiency is also asking for you to come fully into your power. Releasing any old events and acting them firmly in the done and learnt from the pile. Past mistakes are actually now embodied wisdoms and bring you, have brought you, will bring you back into, your power.  Meditate on which areas of your life you feel empowered and where you feel disempowered. To make the shift, you have to begin to vibrate the body with the remembrance of empowerment. Recall, write about, meditate on, visualise, any and all moments where you have been brave, courageous, and powerful.  Bring this image, memory, feeling into the body for as long as possible.  Let this feeling remind you of your capacity as a creator to create any experience you wish, in accordance with your pure heart desires. You will be fully supported when you act with courage.  The more you make acts of bravery the more brave you feel, and so the momentum goes and grows. 

Be compassionate with yourself.  We can often be our own harshest critics and this does not serve our healing.  Harshness only makes us become more rigid and feel like retreating. Softness, forgiveness, understanding that we are always doing our best, as well as a dogged determination to do it better, is the key to transcending suffering.  

Be brave, go beyond the projected problem, be the solution, forgive yourself. You are powerful beyond measure.
