PURE TALK RADIO.

Links below to all of the past weekly shows so you can listen in, whenever you feel it.

It’s every Wednesday — Mercury day — the day of language, transmission, and magical speech, the messenger moving between worlds.

This hour is a field space for what the old Daoist thinkers called pure conversation — a philosophical dialogue and way of being. And sometimes a bit of music, oracle, or randomly magical exercises for you to try and apply in your own life.

Nothing protected. Nothing off limits.
A space beyond right and wrong, where insight appears through sound, language, and listening.

We drift between metaphysics, aesthetics, ethics, life stories, and personal cultivation.
We explore paradoxes. We tell stories that dissolve certainty.
We sit with uncertainty, allowing intuition to move where rigid thought cannot.

So wherever you are, you can settle into the frequencies.
Let the sounds drift. Let the conversation unfold.
An hour for insight to arise naturally, in the creative field of spontaneity.

Listen Up. Episode one

In this episode I’m joined by David Noyce. A man focused on life in service nurturing our collective sense of oneness. He has spent his first half of life regulating universities, responsible for specialist schools, and medical education, husband and father to a daughter Alice. He is a book obsessive, he might confess to being an intellectual romantic as well as a believer in the bliss on this earth amidst the chaos. I’m pretty sure he’s looking for the magic within the collapsings as we rebirth a new version and vision of humanity. I dare say he might have 10,000 books on his shelves at home, I wonder if he’s read them all? He might tell us more about that. But generally he is a man who will talk to any stranger, get to know them, ask them curious questions and will become your best friend within minutes, if he discerns your safety. He is focused on refining himself with movements and practices towards an ecstatic version of self rooted in community and togetherness with his values in Ubuntu, I am because we are.

LISTEN UP EPISODE TWO

In this episode I’m joined by Max Velmans. Max is a professor of psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London and has been exploring consciousness both personally and professionally for over 50

years. He is best known for developing Reflexive Monism, a model of the self-observing universe, which we delve deeper into in this episode with him

A model in which we are embodied and embedded that suggests how to integrate the way that philosophy and science understand consciousness with our deep need to reconnect to a source of meaning heart and mystery in our lives. Together with Wendy Stayte, he founded Totnes Consciousness Café, which has now been running for over 18 years.

He is one of my favourite people to go as deep as I love going. Ready to jump in with us?

Listen Up episode three

In this episode I’m joined by Daniela Ayad. Daniela is a somatic coach who supports women to own and then take radical action on their unique heart’s callings. Through returning to the wise land of our bodies we get in touch with what she calls our niggles- the intuitive pulls and nudges that wish to guide us forward to become positive agents of change.

Listen Up episode four

In this episode I’m joined by William Templeton. He’s lived a few different lives in his words

He’s done restaurants and events in London, he’s produced music and Dj’ed all over, now he’s a photographer based in Totnes, focused on positive stories around the environment … He has a longstanding yoga and meditation practice of about 13 years ongoing manifesting in different ways …

I asked him about his utopian vision of humanity a few weeks ago, at which he said, I won’t answer that now because it will take me five minutes, and he never answered, so maybe I’ll get some of that juice out of him here today … Who knows!  Lets see what opens out in the field as we drop in … Coming in?
